About CSA 2010 – What Is It?

The Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 (CSA 2010) is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) plan to advance truck and bus safety and eventually decrease commercial motor vehicle (CMV)-related accidents, collision injuries and vehicle related deaths. Its rolling out a new enforcement and compliance model that allows FMCSA and its associates to interchange a greater amount of carriers prior in order to address safety complications before collisions occur. The Compliance Safety Accountability (CSA) program should occur not before December 12, 2010, despite various rumors stating otherwise.
