1. Take a Walk
When you start to doze off it’s tempting to grab a soda or candy bar for a quick sugar rush, but studies show it’s much more effective to take a break and walk around for ten minutes.
2. Talk To Someone
Engaging your mind with conversation does wonders for keeping yourself from drifting off at work. If there’s a colleague nearby great; if not, give someone a call.
3. If You’re Driving, Pull Over
If you feel yourself drifting off behind the wheel, you’re a danger to yourself and everyone else on the road. Pull over to the side and close your eyes for a few minutes. The small amount of time is well worth your safety and well-being.
